Nathan Jorgenson, DDS
Meet Dr. Jorgenson
Dr. Jorgenson grew up in Jackson, Minnesota on the family farm. From there he went to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN to receive his undergraduate degree.
He then moved to the big city where he had been accepted into dental school at the University of Minnesota. After graduation, he was more than happy to move back to a small town to begin his practice. After five years in practice, he also studied at the Pankey Institute in Florida. He lived and practiced dentistry in Fairmont, MN until 2013.
In addition to being an exceptional dentist, Dr. Jorgenson is also the author of three award-winning novels. They are titled Waiting for White Horses, The Crooked Number, and The Mulligan. He loves to talk about his books so while you’re in the dental chair, feel free to ask him about them! Dr. Jorgenson’s first novel, Waiting For White Horses, won the 2004 Benjamin Franklin Award for Best New Voice in Fiction. His other novels, have also been well received.
He’s been married to his best friend, Terry, for forty years, and they live on a quiet lake in the big woods.
It’s been a long journey from gold inlays to computer generated crowns and titanium implants, and Dr. Jorgenson is looking forward to all the new things that lie around the next bend in the river.
