TLC- Technology and Lighting Center
Drug-Free Sedation – Relax like a couch potato
From Seltzer Institute, Inc., the leader in high tech dentistry - The Technology and Lighting Center (TLC) is the only overhead multimedia display that allows patients to comfortably watch TV, intraoral camera or computer images, videos, or movies. Plus the integrated fiber optic dental light shines in the patient's mouth - not in the eyes, providing an unobstructed, glare-free, heat-free experience. http://www.dentalchairpotato.com/
Digital X-Rays
At Perham Family Dentistry, our patients’ health always comes first. This is why we offer digital X-rays, a remarkable innovation in dental safety that allows dentists to reduce the amount of radiation patients are exposed to with standard X-rays up to 90 percent. To take digital X-rays, we will place a small sensor into the mouth. As soon as the picture is taken, an image pops up on a nearby computer screen. This amazing technology allows you to view any potential problems yourself and discuss them with the dentist. The real-time dental information provided by digital X-rays thus allows you to make better decisions with regards to your dental health.

Panoramic X-rays: X-rays taken with the Panoramic X-ray machine differ from other digital X-rays in that they take a “panoramic” picture of the teeth. That is, the machine makes an entire half-circle motion to capture an image of the entire oral cavity. Like digital X-rays, digital Panoramic X-rays reduce the amount of radiation patients are exposed to with standard X-rays up to 90 percent. Digital Panoramic X-rays are only necessary on initial visits and every few years thereafter.
INTRAORAL CAMERA AND INTRAORAL PICTURE
Have you wondered what we see when we look inside of your mouth? Now there's no guessing when we use the intraoral camera. “Wow!” is the comment we often hear when we display a magnified image on the TV screen, for you to see for yourself. You'll be able to join us in planning your treatment as we discuss together health concerns and needs. Seeing is believing since a picture is worth a thousand words.
